We are looking for a SIM Solution Manager to join our Service Management team!

💼 About the role
In this role, you will have overall responsibility for technical development and maintenance of our SIM solutions throughout their lifecycle to meet our customers' expectations on form, fit, function and quality. This includes both physical SIM cards and digital SIM profiles, as well as ensuring that related process flows are robust, secure, and sustainable. This is a technical specialist role with broad responsibility, you will do actual development tasks as well as collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers to develop, test and verify all our SIM solutions.
The position reports to Head of Service Management and is based within Sweden.
Main responsibilities
As a SIM Solution Manager at Telenor Connexion your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Manage the end-to-end SIM and profile development lifecycle - from requirement specification to production, for both standard and customer unique SIM solutions.
- Perform verification tests of new SIM cards/profiles and write test reports.
- Lead troubleshooting of SIMs and write 8D reports.
- Oversee and coordinate technical development and maintenance of related systems, processes and key resources such as IMSI, MSISDN, network keys, SIM hardware and software.
- System owner of SIM related IT systems.
- Be the expert in the area of SIM/eUICC and support the Sales teams in customer dialogues.
- Ensure high-quality standards in SIM development and production, both internally and with partners.
- Stay up-to-date on developments and new standards within the SIM industry.
Requirements
- At least BSc within relevant field, such as Electrical engineering, Software development, Telecommunications or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience from working with technical roles within the telecommunications or smart card industry, such as NOC or system/SIM development.
- Fluency in both Swedish and English (verbal and written)
You need an interest and willingness to deep dive within:
- SIM file architecture and communication (e.g. APDU commands)
- Hexadecimal encoding/decoding and XML syntax
- Radio networks and various network technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G NSA/5G SA/NB-IoT/LPWA)
- SIM certifications (REACH/ROHS/TSCA)
- M2M eSIM infrastructure (SM-SR, SM-DP, SM-DP+)
- Applet development on SIM cards
- Material declarations for SIM cards
The following is meritorious but not requirements:
- Experience from the IoT-business
- Experience from working in Salesforce
- Experience from working in international and multi-cultural environments
